Wild Rising is an installation with hundreds of animal sculptures in coloured and regenerable plastic, realised on the paths of the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, Arizona (USA). The artworks created for this invasion do not only capture the beauty of the surrounding nature, but also confront questions of sustainability and environmental preservation, including climate change, the problem of plastic in the oceans, and the importance of recycling. Visitors of all ages will be attracted to the vivacious sculptures and will discover their own message of awareness. The project is composed of 12 locations, among which are a group of 20 penguins posing among the cacti and 40 majestic wolves guarding the Sybil B. Harrington Cactus and the Succulent Gallery.
